A retrofit needs a control upgrade; a control upgrade needs PLC and HMI programming; all of it needs a panel built properly. We do every part ourselves, so there is nobody else to blame when the machine has to run.

The five services below are separable, but they are rarely bought separately. A full grinding machine retrofit pulls in all of them. A plant that only needs its relay panel replaced buys a control upgrade. A plant with its own machine builders buys just a control panel.
If the machine grinds and the mechanics are sound, you need a retrofit or a control upgrade — the difference is scope, and a survey settles it. If the machine is fine but you want it to do something new, you need programming. If you are building the machine yourself, you need a panel. If the machine does not exist yet, you need a special purpose machine.
